The team, Shital Kamdar, Tejal Shah, Shipra Gomes, Deepa Vaswani, Shalini Jain, Pavithra Venkatesh, Purvi Thakkar , Meghana Sengupta, Cllr PushpaMak, Gayatri Shenoy, Kavita Gupta, Shikha Garg and Rashmi Narvekar, Priyanka Bhargava and Bhakti Vaidyahas been working hard to carry it forward in supporting women from all fields to grow professionally as well as personally. The group’s tagline, Lift! Support! Rise! is inspired by the Poet and Civil Rights activist Maya Angelou’s quote, ‘Try and be a Rainbow in someone’s cloud’.

Its members are based not only in the U.K but all over the world. In just six months the membership touched almost 5000. Slowly and steadily the group is rising to reach its objective as a support by sharing inspirational stories of women in all fields be it in performing arts, entrepreneurship, children’s talent or even creating awareness against any gender bias issue. The group believes in collaborating and coordinating with other Indian groups to organise events, for example with IWIL, IIL, Hindi women in UK, Made in India, IMUK, Jammu Kashmir festival team, Essex Indians, Events to Empower , Women 2 Women and Brahmin Society of North London etc. From talk shows to Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations, Women Cricket Match, to showcasing our Indian Cultural extravaganza in crowded non-Indian places like various iconic stations in UK, Charity fund raiser; Nakshi Bold and Beautiful and Dance for a cause and also the very popular events like Baishakhi and Prekarva Chauth on public demand. We often try and create opportunities to various women having small scale business and trying to sell through FB or limited market. Our uniqueness is that , we allow one business post a day. We now have 3 Whatsapp group, soon will be touching 12,000 members on FB.

Inspiring Indian Women has come a long way since its first event on Giddha along with Heartfulness. The IIW team is rising; it has a cultural team, IT team, Deputy Directors, Executive members, Digital Marketing head IT UK as well as Digital Marketing Head IT India. The team comprises of both influential and successful men and women in London with the drive to help the community genuinely.

The IIW website was formally launched in the Houses of Commons in the presence of Hon’ble MP Mr Virendra Sharma, Hon’ble M.P Mr Bob Blackman, and Hon’ble M.P Ms Rupa Haq along with 5 councilors on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2018. As Rashmi Mishra puts it, selflessly we move by simply motivating, encouraging, inspiring, influencing, sharing and caring for each other. This is the platform, where there are no admins, no superiority syndrome as well as no place for jealousy and ego.

Dr. Renu Raj is the founder and CEO of Radanks Ltd. UK, an international legal tourism company launched at the House of Commons in London in year 2019. Radanks is the world’s first integrated legal care and support platform for NRI’s and OCI card holders around the world for any legal disputes or issues faced anywhere in India.

Dr Renu Raj is qualified in multiple professions and has added many achievements to her bag with the aim to continue adding more. So, how her inclination towards legal things made a full time career choice is really interesting thing to share here.

To add to her set of skills, Dr Renu Raj decided to join law school and after that she pursued master’s degree from Birkbeck University. She is an avid member of social organizations, the International Law Association and more. That lead her to establish Radanks Ltd, which she felt is the necessity of time and big legal requirement in the United Kingdom.

She is also an international accredited mediator and motivational speaker whose main agenda is to encourage women to make their own mark in the world despite of all odds. She’s achieved various awards for being a motivation and inspiration. As a certified accredited Mediator from LSM,she has judged the inter-universities mediation competition in Bristol,UK. As an active member of the British politics, she contested for the London Council elections. She promotes and sponsors any organisation who works for the benefit and progress of humanity. At the minute the project closest to her heart is her sponsorship for “Autism and silent Domestic abuse” helping them lead an active life while enhancing their talents. The three main C’s fuel her drive of life are CONCERN, COMMITMENT & CONFIDENCE. These combined with optimism have made her who she is today. Her vision is to be able to leave her mark in this world as a humanitarian and visionary. She runs her own NGO in India and has spread smiles through the NGO in various ways. She firmly believes in karma and its outcomes and motivation for success in failure is very inspiring and result oriented.

Dr. Renu Raj says that the key to success is self investment. She adds,” I believe every woman must love and respect oneself. Leaving someone or being left by someone should not alter your path to success. We must think about the coming generation to provide them with a beautiful & happy life.”

Her philosophy towards life is very unique and praiseworthy. Her thought speaks, “ Teach your sons and daughters to support women, don’t let any woman be humiliated or tortured by anyone. Always stand by her. We need to respect and stand with other women because sometimes circumstances lead to a woman turning into another woman’s enemy. An axe is the live example of this, its handle is made of wood and it helps the axe cut down the other tree. The same way women can choose to be the power of women or the reason of their failure too.”
